În ultimi  40-50 de ani s-a dovedit tot mai clar că tutunul conţine substanţe nocive.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;  În frunze se găsesc diverse componente chimice:celuloza, proteine,amidon,steroli,minerale etc. Aceste substanţe se mai găsesc şi în alte plante, dar tutunul are ca substanţe specifice nicotina şi isoprenoizii.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;  Nicotina este o substanţă foarte toxică.O doză de 5 mg fiind suficientă pentru a omorî un câine în câteva clipe, iar o doză 60 mg fiind suficientă pentru a omorî un om. Studiile au&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;arătat că fumatul determină dependenţă fiziologică de  nicotină, exacerbând pofta de nicotină după încercarea de abandonare a fumatului. Fumatul este un obicei ce reduce emoţiile negative cum ar fi durerea, frica,furia etc. Obiceiul fumatului poate avea efecte sociologice adânci,cum ar fi preluarea obiceiului de la părinţi şi prieteni. obicei care creeaza dependenta si distruge sanatatea. Fumatul este cea mai de seama cauza de deces la scara mondiala care poate fi prevenita.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Unul dintre cele mai solide principii etice al celor mai multor societati, daca nu al tuturor, este ca preventia este preferabila fata de tratament. Dar in chestiunea fumatului, cele mai multe tari sunt in fata unui paradox etic: cu toate ca multe decenii de cercetare au scos la iveala dovezi de netagaduit privind pericolele fumatului, industria tutunului infloreste mai departe, adesea cu sprijinul guvernelor - tacit sau fatis. Aspectele morale ale fumatului devin si mai grave prin dezvaluirile alarmante, prin decesul prin cancer si alte riscuri pentru sanatate prin fumatul pasiv. Consumat timp îndelungat alcoolul poate afecta grav ficatul, creierul, sistemul nervos şi inima. Alcoolul descreşte nivelul de hormoni, reduce abilitatea sexuală atât la bărbaţi cât şi la femei. Alcoolul influenţează capacitatea de a lua decizii bune de a gândi şi de a controla impulsurile. Dacă eşti într-un post de conducere şi eşti nevoit să iei decizii consumul de alcool poate duce la pierderea locului de muncă. Dacă lucrezi într-un mediu cu substanţe chimice toxice de tipul solvenţilor efectele combinate ale alcoolului cu cele ale toxicului care intră în organism pot determina apariţia unor intoxicaţii cu sechele grave, cu deces prematur.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;ALCOOLUL - Scurt istoric &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Bauturile alcoolice au fost folosite aproape in intreaga lume, inca din timpuri stravechi. Exista consemnari ale folosirii acestora de catre vechile civilizatii inca din anul 6.000 i.Hr. Producerea vinului isi are originea in Orientul Mijlociu, unde vita-de-vie dadea roade fara ingrijiri speciale. Vechiul Testament ii atribuie lui Noe plantarea primei culturi de vita-de-vie, considerandu-l si prima persoana care s-a imbatat.&lt;br /&gt;In orasul sumerian Nippur, berea si vinul erau folosite ca bauturi tonice in scop medical si inca din anul 2.000 i.Hr. manifestarile religioase ale vechilor egipteni si ale asirienilor includeau petreceri la care se consumau bauturi alcoolice si care durau zile de-a randul. Unul dintre cei mai populari zei egipteni, Osiris, era considerat a fi primul cultivator al vitei-de-vie si cel ce produsese berea din cereale. Este de asemenea interesant de stiut faptul ca un faraon ce a trait acum aproximativ 5.000 de ani a scris primul epitaf dedicat unui alcoolic.In Grecia, betia nu era un fapt cunoscut inaintea aparitiei noului zeu Dionysos (zeul vitei-de-vie si al petrecerilor). Prin secolul al VII-lea i.Hr., consumarea bauturilor alcoolice devenise o parte importanta a vietii de zi cu zi. Grecii erau insa destul de inteligenti pentru a remarca faptul ca, desi vinul poate crea o stare placuta, poate, de asemenea, sa-l determine pe un individ sa faca lucruri pe care in mod normal nu le-ar fi facut sau chiar sa-si iasa din minti. Filosofi greci, cum fi Socrate sau Platon recomandau cumpatarea si incriminau abuzul de alcool. Oricum, se stie ca sfaturile lor au fost adesea ignorate, intre cei care le-au ignorat aflandu-se si Alexandru cel Mare, despre care se crede ca ar fi murit in timpul unei petreceri la varsta de 33 de ani, dupa ce cucerise intreaga lume cunoscuta. E posibil ca betia pe scara larga sa fi dus la caderea Babilonului, in anul 539 i.Hr. Persii au atacat si distrus orasul in timpul unui festival cand toti locuitorii erau beti. Romanii au fost familiarizati cu vinul de catre greci, si, desi ei au cucerit Imperiul Grec, ei au fost de fapt cuceriti de cultura greaca, de zeii lor, si de dragostea grecilor pentru consumul vinului. Romanii au transformat sarbatorile bahice (Dionysos a devenit Bachus, in latina) in manifestari de o amploare necunoscuta la acea vreme, caracterizate prin excese alimentare si de alcool, orgii sexuale, ceremonii religioase stranii, crime ritualice. Consumul bauturilor alcoolice era raspandit printre reprezentantii claselor superioare si printre conducatorii Imperiului Roman, vanzarea si folosirea acestora ajungand pana in Spania, Franta, Germania si Insulele Britanice. Pe masura ce luxul, avaritia si ambitia au condus spre declinul Romei, lacomia si bautura i-au aruncat pe imparati in decadenta si moarte. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Oamenii au inceput sa produca bauturi alcoolice din motive practice. Productia vinului a inceput in Egiptul Antic, cand egiptenii si-au dat seama ca sucul de struguri se strica repede, dar ca sucul fermentat sau vinul se pastreaza bine. Ei aveau probleme, de asemenea, cu apa de baut, care era impura, si au observat ca daca beau vin nu se imbolnaveau. Mai tarziu, vinul a devenit important pentru biserica Romano-Catolica, intrucat era folosit la oficierea sfintei liturghii. In perioada renasterii, bauturile alcoolice au devenit importante in societatea europeana. Au inceput sa fie produse pe scara larga si promovate de breasla de comercianti care avea controlul productiei lor. &lt;br /&gt;In jurul anului 1300 a aparut o industrie a "berii" in Europa centrala. In aceasta perioada, vinul a continuat sa creasca in popularitate. Au aparut, de asemenea, multe sortimente denumite dupa locul de origine. Desi alcoolul a aparut initial din motive practice, utilizarea lui s-a schimbat ulterior. &lt;br /&gt;Oamenii au inceput sa incerce diferite tipuri de alcool, iar consumul de bauturi alcoolice a devenit o parte din cultura europeana. &lt;br /&gt;Utilizarea lui a adus adesea la abuz.&lt;br /&gt;Este necesar sa examinam cazurile de abuz si sa intelegem efectele daunatoare ale alcoolului pentru ca fiecare dintre noi sa poata lua o decizie rationala si constienta cu privire la consumul acestui drog. Alcoolul este un drog, o substanta chimica care schimba modul de functionare al organismului. Daca utilizarea lui este larg raspandita, nu inseamna ca este sanatos sa-l folosim. Este un drog care tulbura mintea si care schimba reactiile chimice din creier, afectand modul de a gandi, a simti, a vorbi si a se misca al oamenilor. Multe din aceste efecte sunt periculoase si pot fi chiar fatale. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cu cat stiti mai multe despre efectele alcoolului asupra organismului vostru, cu atat veti fi mai pregatit pentru a lua o hotarare cu privire la utilizarea lui. Decizia ramane sa o luati voi insiva.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Efectele alcoolului asupra organismului&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Alcoolul, spre deosebire de mancare, nu este digerat in stomac si in intestine. Cand alcoolul ajunge in stomac, o parte din el trece in celulele stomacului si apoi in circuitul sanguin. Restul trece in intestinul subtire si apoi direct in sange. Alcoolul poate afecta tesuturile care protejeaza stomacul si laringele. Chiar si in cantitati mici, alcoolul creste secretia sucurilor digestive din stomac si creeaza o senzatie de foame. Iritarea constanta a invelisului stomacului poate produce gastrita: inflamatia cronica a mucoasei. Mancarea poate incetini absorbtia alcoolului in sange aproape cu 50% . Mancarurile grase, alaturi de proteine, cum sunt laptele si branza, il pot proteja pe cel care bea de a se intoxica prea repede. Gradul de intoxicatie este determinat de cantitatea de alcool consumata o singura data precum si de viteza de consumare. Consumul lent si in doze mici permite ficatului sa oxideze alcoolul mult mai eficient decat cand este consumat dintr-o data. Rezultatul va fi un grad mai mic de intoxicatie.&lt;br /&gt;  Alcoolul trebuie descompus de ficat in bioxid de carbon si apa, inainte de a iesi din organism. Ficatul nu poate descompune o data decat cantitati mici. Restul alcoolului circula in sange pana ce ficatul va fi din nou capabil sa-l descompuna. Cand ficatul devine foarte slabit, apar simptome in tubul digestiv si in sistemul circulator. Ciroza este o deteriorare a ficatului care distruge tesuturile sanatoase si lasa numai tesuturi grase si fibroase. Ciroza este cauzata de consumul excesiv de alcool de lunga durata.&lt;br /&gt;  Pe masura ce alcoolul circula prin sange, el ajunge la toate partile organismului. In cateva minute el ajunge si la creier. Alcoolul este sedativ si depresiv, el incetineste activitatea creierului. Alcoolul impedica atat stocarea cat si obtinerea informatiei din memorie, poate produce halucinatii si chiar apoplexie.&lt;br /&gt;  Alcoolul poate deteriora atat vederea cat si auzul. Gustul, mirosul si perceptia tactila pot fi, de asemenea, afectate. Intrucat toti muschii sunt sub controlul creierului, acest control este tulburat chiar si de cantitati mici de alcool. Aceasta deteriorare poate duce in timp la pierderea coordonarii si a puterii de reactie.&lt;br /&gt;  Greutatea organismului reprezinta un factor determinant pentru efectul alcoolului asupra organismului. Ficatul oxideaza alcoolul, ceea ce inseamna ca il descompune chimic. O persoana mai voluminoasa, cu greutate mai mare, va putea suporta mai usor efectele alcoolului decat o persoana cu greutate mai mica. Efectul de intoxicatie apare atunci cand alcoolul ajunge la creier si nu mai poate fi oxidat de ficat. Retineti, alcoolul nu este digerat, cum este mancarea. El este absorbit in sange, o parte prin stomac si o parte prin intestinul subtire.&lt;br /&gt;  Taria unei bauturi alcoolice determina si efectele sale asupra organismului. "Taria" indica concentratia de alcool in bautura. Continutul de alcool :&lt;br /&gt;  Bere - 3-6% alcool (facuta din cereale)&lt;br /&gt;  Vin - 10-14% alcool (din struguri)&lt;br /&gt;  Gin, whisky, cognac, rom - 40-50% alcool (amestec fermentat de cereale si fructe)&lt;br /&gt;  Nivelul de alcool in sange reprezinta cantitatea de alcool transportat de sange la creier, determinand gradul de intoxicatie.&lt;br /&gt;  Un nivel de alcool in sange de 0,01-0,02% nu are un efect prea mare asupra organismului; 0,10-0,15% cauzeaza simptome mai grave, printre care deteriorarea vederii, a auzului, a deprinderilor motorii. La un nivel de 0,10-0,15% este foarte periculos pentru sofatul masinei. La 0,20% apar clar semne de betie: dificultatea de a vorbi, de a merge. Concentratiile peste 0,40% duc la stare de coma. Cele de 0.60-0,70% cauzeaza moartea.&lt;br /&gt;  Dupa cum vedeti alcoolul are multe efecte asupra organismului. Unele sunt efecte de scurta durata, altele sunt de lunga durata. Afirmaţia aceasta este mottoul societăţii după care se ghidează şi acţionează ca atare. Ceea ce obişnuim să facem în viaţa de zi cu zi formează caracterul nostru. In nordul si centrul Europei, Vikingii shi Celtzii organizau tot felul de ceremonii rituale in onoarea nashterii soarelui, simbolul vietzi si al lumini. Abia in secolul al IV-lea, dupa ce imparatul Constantin a facut din crestinism un cult oficial,&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt; teologii i-au dat un aspect religios, &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;fixand venirea pe lume a pruncului Isus in aceasta zi. In anul 1821, un pastor metodist amercican Clement C. Moore, scrie o poveste de Craciun pentru copiii sai, in care vorbeste de un batran gras, binevoitor, cu barba alba, lunga, ce aduce cadouri cu ajutorul unei sanii trase de reni Dasher, Dancer, Pancer, Vixen, Cupid shi Bilxen. Pastorul inlocuieshte mitra Sf. Nicolae cu o caciula roshie shi carja de episcop cu o acadea. Astfel s-a nascut Mosh Craciun. In 1863 ilustratorul shi caricatoristul Thomas Nast, de la ziarul new-yorkez Harper's Ilustrated Weekley, l-a reprezentat intr-un costum rosu garnisit cu blana alba , cu o centura lata de piele. Tot Nast a stabilit, in 1880, domiciliul Moshului la Polul nord. IN 1933, Coca-Cola pune stapanire pe acest personaj, lansand o mare campanie publicitara, pentru a-i indemna pe consumatori sa bea Coke in miezul ierni. Sub penitza talentatului Hadden Sundblom, grafician angajat de companie, trasaturile lui Mosh Craciun se precizeaza, iar haina lunga, rosie lasa locul pantalonilor shi tunicii. In 1939, poetul Robert L. May il iventeza pe Rudolph renul cu nasul roshu, care ii lumineaza calea. Numit Mosh Ianuarie in unele regiuni din Frantza, Olentzaro de catre basci, Weinachtsmann in Germania, Noel in Frantza shi Spania, Mosh Craciun contiunua sa duca bucurii copiilor din lumea intrega. Shi chiar cand nu mai credem ca poate intra pe horn, magia ramane intrega.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span
